IMPORTANT NOTICE – ATV & MOTORIZED BIKE USE IN PUBLIC PARKS

The Town of Snow Lake would like to remind all residents, youth, and visitors that the operation of ATVs, dirt bikes, motorized bikes, and other off-road vehicles is prohibited in public parks, playgrounds, sports fields, and other municipal recreational areas.

These spaces are intended for the safe enjoyment of children, families, and community members. Motorized vehicles can cause damage to public property, create safety hazards, and negatively impact the enjoyment of these facilities by others.

As outlined in Town of Snow Lake By-Law No. 899/11, the use of off-road vehicles in prohibited municipal areas is not permitted.

We ask parents and guardians to speak with their children about respecting municipal property and using ATVs and motorized bikes only in approved locations.

Enforcement Notice:

If this activity continues, the Town will have no choice but to contact Conservation Officers and the RCMP for enforcement action. Violations may result in warnings, fines, or other penalties as permitted under applicable legislation and municipal by-laws.
