Winter Whoot Festival

The Winter Whoot Festival kicks off in early March. The three day event includes something for everyone. Exciting events may include an Ice Worm scavenger hunt that involves funny and interesting local trivia; fun things for youngsters such as face painting, races, bouncy houses, and a fish pond that is always a huge hit; tug of war; giant basketball; snow golf with orange balls; a pool tournament; horse sleigh rides around town; clowns; balloons for everyone; carpet bowling; ski races; dart tournaments; bingo; cribbage tournament; mini bonspiel, plus a delicious pancake breakfast.

You can also go for a snowmobile ride or cross country skiing on the beautifully groomed trails through the boreal forest. Little ones love the Winter Whoot mascot…what else but an owl. For more information call (204) 358-9743.
