All Recycling on Wednesdays
Please place your garbage containers adjacent to the road on garbage pick up days. Bills are issued quarterly by the Town for residences and businesses, and monthly for the trailer court.
Recyclables:
Newspaper, flyers, magazines, cereal boxes, paper towel rolls, all kinds of paper, drink cans, steel or tin cans, plastics with a #1, 2, 4, 5 or 7 on them, pop bottles, milk jugs and cartons, and juice boxes.
Telephone directories cannot be accepted whole. If you remove the glue backing, the separated pages and covers can be accepted. Discard the glue backing.
Please ensure that all cardboard is broken down.
There is a recycling trailer near the Fire Hall, which is located at 174 Poplar Avenue. This trailer is for residents to use to drop off their recycling at their convenience. There is a recycling bin at Berry Bay/Taylor Bay as well, but this one is to be used by residents of the cabin properties only.
When using these recycling trailers, please do not throw your recycling into them loose. All recycling must be bagged in clear/blue bags prior to being placed in the recycling trailer. If you have cardboard, it must be either bagged or bundled prior to being placed in the trailer as well.
